What help is available for permanent weight loss?

To an observer, body form may be a question of taste, but from a certain mass onwards it is really no longer a question of taste but a question of subjective suffering and how to alleviate this.

Body Mass Index

The BMI is a method of calculating weight medically in a more exact wayn:

BodyMassIndex - mathematical formula

Body weight in kg is divided by height in m2.

A person with a weight of 135 kg and a height of 1.65 therefore has a BMI of 135/ 1.65 x 1.65= 135/2.7=50 kg/m2

With this measurement of BMI it is significantly easier to estimate a person`s health and risks:

Grade I : BMI : 25-30
Grade II: BMI : 30-40
Grade III: BMI : > 40

Obesity requiring therapeutic intervention is when the BMI is greater than 25 kg/m2, especially in order to avoid further health problems caused by the obesity.
